DMCA & Copyright Takedown Policy

Last updated: 21 September 2026

RealtyIQ (realtyiq.tech, operated by Vision Realtors Pvt. Ltd., WBRERA/RA/NOR/2026/000189) displays project brochures, developer logos, floor plans, certificate scans and other marketing material supplied to us under channel-partner agreements with developers. We respect copyright and will respond to properly submitted takedown notices. This page explains how to file one and how to respond if your content is taken down.

01Designated Agent

All copyright/takedown correspondence for RealtyIQ should be sent to our designated agent:

Copyright Agent — RealtyIQ
Vision Realtors Pvt. Ltd.
Office Number 721, PS Abacus, New Town Action Area 2E, Kolkata 700161, India
Email: contact@realtyiq.tech (subject line: “DMCA Takedown Notice”)
Phone: +91-9903774661

Email is the fastest channel; written notices to the postal address above are also accepted. Please send notices from an address you monitor — we may need to clarify details before acting.

02Filing a Takedown Notice

To be actionable, your notice must include all of the following:

  • Identification of the work — the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (title, registration number if available, or a link to an authorised copy).
  • Identification of the material — the exact URL(s) on realtyiq.tech where the material appears. Notices without specific URLs cannot be actioned.
  • Your contact details — full name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
  • Good-faith statement — a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • Accuracy statement & authority — a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
  • Signature — a physical or electronic signature.

03What Happens Next

Our commitment on receiving a complete, valid notice:

  • Acknowledgement within 2 business days.
  • Review of the identified material against the notice and our channel-partner records (much of the material on RealtyIQ is supplied by developers under agreement — where the material traces to such an agreement we will tell you and may ask the developer to confirm the licence).
  • Removal or disablement of the material within 7 business days if the notice is valid and the licence cannot be substantiated.
  • Notification to the uploader/developer, including a copy of your notice (contact details redacted on request).

Incomplete notices will be returned with an explanation of what is missing; the clock starts when a complete notice is received.

04Counter-Notice

If your content was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification (for example, you are the copyright owner or hold a valid licence), you may file a counter-notice containing:

  • The URL(s) of the removed material and where it appeared.
  • Your name, address, telephone number and email.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your consent to the jurisdiction of an appropriate court (for Indian parties: the courts at Kolkata, West Bengal) and a statement that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

We will forward the counter-notice to the original complainant. Unless they notify us within 10 business days that they have filed an action seeking a court order to restrain the activity, the removed material may be restored.

05Repeat Infringers

Accounts of uploaders/developers who repeatedly supply infringing material (two or more valid notices that are not successfully counter-noticed) are terminated under our channel-partner agreements, and their material is removed from the platform.

06Abuse of This Process

Knowingly materially misrepresenting that material is infringing — or was removed by mistake — may expose you to liability for damages under applicable law (in the US: 17 U.S.C. §512(f)). Please conduct a reasonable investigation (for example, confirm that the developer's marketing agreement does not authorise distribution) before filing.
